We are a mother-daughter team combining our interests in growing flowers and exploring the art of color to bring you a curated collection of locally grown speciality cut flowers in a color palette full of joy.
If you have ever grown your own cut-flower garden or received a locally grown bouquet, you know the difference in life energy of the flowers. They are fresher, brighter, last longer, and have a smaller carbon-footprint as they haven't been transported around the world to get to you. Also, when you purchase flowers from a local flower farmer you are directly supporting your local economy and local ecology including our precious pollinators!
We acknowledge the First Nations people of the Osage, Caddo, Quapaw, Kickapoo, Ochethi Sakowin, and Muscogee tribes who currently reside and/or used to reside here/near here on the land where we grow our flowers. Our family strives to humbly honor indigenous ways of knowing and being by listening, and respecting the interdependence of all living beings, and giving and receiving on this land. We honor the mothers and grandmothers with this work.
We sell market bouquets at Three Springs Farm's CSA Market in the All Soul's Unitarian Church Saturdays 8:30-11am mid-April through Labor Day. If you don't know about Three Springs Farm's wonderful locally grown organic vegetables, and their daughter's flowers too check them out here. Fat Bee also offers seasonal flower subscriptions and custom bouquets by contacting us.
We offer several options for wedding flowers including bulk flowers by the bucket for the DIY bride, a la carte wedding bouquet orders, or full service wedding flowers. Please contact us directly to begin a conversation about flowers for your special day.
